Effective Date: September 23, 2025
Decolure (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a U.S.-based bedding brand committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to all users, visitors, and customers of the Decolure website (our “Site”) and any services offered through it. By using our Site or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Site.
We have crafted this policy to be clear and accessible to everyone, including international users. We comply with applicable privacy laws globally, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), even though we currently sell products only within the United States.
Information We Collect
We collect both personal information and non-personal information about you. The type of information and method of collection depend on how you interact with us:
-
Personal Information: This is information that identifies you or can be directly associated with you. For example:
-
Contact Details: Name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing address.
-
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect login credentials (such as username and password).
-
Order and Payment Information: Details necessary to process your orders, such as products ordered, payment method, and transaction details. Payment information (like credit card numbers) is processed via our secure payment processor (Shopify’s payment system or third-party processors) and is not stored in full by Decolure.
-
Communications: Content of communications you send us (e.g. emails to customer support or messages through contact forms).
-
Non-Personal Information: This is information that does not directly identify you but relates to your usage of our Site. For example:
-
Usage and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and referring URL.
-
Cookies and Tracking Data: Data collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies that record your preferences and how you interact with our Site and ads. (See Cookies & Tracking Technologies below for more details.)
-
Analytics Data: Aggregate statistical information about user interactions (e.g. site traffic, click-through rates) that helps us understand and improve usage trends.
How We Collect Information: We collect information about you in several ways:
-
Directly from You: You provide personal information when you do things like create an account, place an order, fill out forms, enter information at checkout, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us for support.
-
Automatically: When you visit or use our Site, we automatically collect certain usage data via cookies, web beacons, and pixel tags. For example, our Site may automatically log your IP address and user activity.
-
Through Third-Party Integrations: We use trusted third-party platforms and services that help us operate our business and advertising. These partners may collect or provide information on our behalf:
-
Shopify: Our store is built on Shopify, which means information you provide (like order details and account info) is processed through Shopify’s e-commerce platform.
-
Email Marketing Providers (e.g. Klaviyo): If you subscribe to our emails or SMS updates, your contact info and marketing preferences are stored with our email/SMS service provider. They may collect data on email open rates or link clicks to help us tailor our communications.
-
Advertising & Analytics Partners: We use tools like Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and similar services. These tools automatically collect data about your visit (such as pages visited or products viewed) and may connect it with your profile on their platform. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads and show you relevant Decolure ads on those platforms. Please note that data collected by these third parties is subject to their own privacy policies.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our Store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, you can visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy . Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights with respect to your personal information here Shopify Privacy Portal Link.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes consistent with the reasons you provided it and our legitimate business interests. These include:
-
Providing and Fulfilling Services: To process your orders and transactions, deliver products to you, handle returns or exchanges, and provide you with the products or services you requested. For example, we use your information to create your account, process payments, arrange shipping, and send you order confirmations or updates.
-
Personalization: To personalize your experience on our Site. This could include remembering your preferences, displaying products or content tailored to your interests, and making product recommendations.
-
Communication: To communicate with you about your orders, account, and customer service inquiries. We may send you service-related announcements (e.g. order confirmation, shipping notification, or changes to our terms) via email or SMS.
-
Marketing & Promotional Purposes: To send you newsletters, special offers, or other marketing communications we believe may interest you. This is done in accordance with your subscription preferences and applicable law. We may also use your data to serve you targeted advertisements on our Site or on third-party platforms (like social media and search engines). You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email or contacting us (see Your Rights below).
-
Advertising and Retargeting: To “retarget” or show you Decolure ads on other websites or apps. For example, if you visit our Site and view certain products, we might later show you an ad for those products on Facebook or Google. We achieve this through cookies and pixels integrated into our Site (e.g. Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads cookies) which allow our advertising partners to recognize your browser and present relevant ads.
-
Analytics and Product Improvement: To analyze usage of our Site and services so we can understand what is working and what isn’t. For instance, we may analyze aggregate trends about which pages are most visited or how users navigate the Site. This information helps us improve our website design, product offerings, and services. We also use it to develop new features or products based on what our customers find useful.
-
Customer Support: To provide you with support and respond to your questions or requests. Your information helps us investigate and address any issues you raise, and ensure we resolve problems effectively.
-
Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations. For example, we may use certain data to fulfill financial reporting requirements, tax and accounting obligations, or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities (such as subpoenas or court orders).
-
Fraud Prevention and Security: To protect our business and customers from fraud, malicious activity, or other illegal activities. For example, we might use your IP address to detect suspicious logins, or use order information to screen for fraudulent transactions. We also enforce our Terms of Service and protect the safety and integrity of our Site.
-
With Your Consent: If we ever need to use your personal information for a purpose not covered by this Privacy Policy, we will explain the purpose to you and do so only with your explicit consent.
We will only use your personal information for the purposes it was collected, or for compatible purposes such as record-keeping or compliance. If we need to use it for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and, if required, seek your consent.
Information Sharing
Decolure respects your privacy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money. We only share your information in the limited situations described below, and always with appropriate protections:
-
Service Providers (Processors): We share information with trusted third-party companies that help us run our business (“service providers”). These include:
-
Payment processors: to securely process credit card payments and other payment transactions. (For example, if you pay with a credit card, your card details are transmitted to our payment processor to complete the charge.)
-
Fulfillment and Shipping partners: to pack and deliver your orders to your address, and handle returns or exchanges.
-
Website hosting and IT providers: (including Shopify, which hosts our online store) to power our website and ensure it functions properly.
-
Email/SMS platforms: (e.g. Klaviyo) to send newsletters, order updates, and other communications on our behalf.
-
Analytics and marketing partners: (e.g. Google Analytics, advertising networks like Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads) to understand Site performance and help us conduct advertising (as described in Advertising and Retargeting above). These partners may receive identifiers like your device ID or browsing information through cookies/pixels on our site. We only share the information necessary for them to provide their services to us. Each service provider is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
-
Legal Requirements and Protection: We may disclose information about you if we are required to do so by law or legal process. This includes responding to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful requests by public authorities (including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements). We may also share information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, investigate or prevent fraud or security issues, protect the safety of users or the public, or enforce our terms and conditions or other agreements.
-
Business Transfers: In the event that Decolure considers or undergoes a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of some or all of our assets, your personal information may be disclosed to potential or actual purchasers and their advisors as part of the process. If the transaction is completed, your information may be transferred to the successor or new owner so that the business can continue to provide services to you. If such a change happens, we will ensure the new owner is bound to respect your personal data in line with this Privacy Policy.
-
With Your Consent or At Your Direction: We will share your information with others if you specifically ask or consent to us doing so. For example, if you request that we share your feedback or testimonial on our site, or if you use integrations that involve sharing data (such as using an express checkout or social login that shares data with a payment service or social network at your direction). In such cases, we will only share the information necessary to fulfill your request.
No Selling of Personal Data: Decolure does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their independent use without your explicit consent. In other words, we do not provide your personal details to unrelated companies for money or other valuable consideration. The only sharing we do is as explained above - to run our business, advertise our products, comply with the law, or with your permission. If in the future Decolure ever needs to share your information in a way not covered by this policy, we will update this Privacy Policy and/or ask for your consent as required by law.
(For California Residents: While Decolure does not “sell” personal data for money, some of our use of advertising cookies and analytics could be considered a “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You have the right to opt out of such sharing - see Cookies & Tracking Technologies below for how to manage your preferences.)
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Like many websites, we and our partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide and improve our services, as well as to serve you relevant content and ads. This section explains the types of tracking technologies we use and your choices regarding them.
What Are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, smartphone, etc.) when you visit. They allow the website or a third party to recognize your browser and remember information about your visit (like your preferences or what’s in your cart). We also use related technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, and device identifiers – for simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies.”
Types of Cookies We Use:
-
Essential Cookies: These are necessary for our Site to function properly. They enable core features such as the shopping cart, checkout process, account login, and page navigation. For example, when you add items to your cart or log in to your account, essential cookies keep you logged in and remember the items until you complete a purchase. Without these cookies, our Site would not work correctly.
-
Performance and Analytics Cookies: These cookies collect information about how visitors use our Site (e.g. which pages are visited most often, whether users encounter errors). We use this data to improve how our website works and understand user behavior. For instance, we use Google Analytics cookies to help analyze site traffic and usage patterns. The data is aggregated and doesn’t directly identify individual visitors.
-
Functional Cookies: These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personalized features. For example, they may remember your region or language preference, or items you left in your cart, so we can provide you a more tailored experience.
-
Advertising and Marketing Cookies: Decolure and our advertising partners use cookies and pixels to deliver relevant advertisements and marketing messages to you. Advertising cookies track your browsing habits and activity on our Site (and sometimes across other sites) so we can show you ads that are more likely to interest you. For example, the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok Pixel on our Site collect information about what you view or purchase; this allows us to later show you ads for Decolure products when you visit Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other sites. Similarly, Google Ads cookies help us display targeted ads in Google search results or on websites in Google’s ad network, based on your interactions with our Site. These cookies also help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
-
Social Media Cookies: Our Site may integrate with social media platforms (for example, via share buttons or embedded content). If you use those features, the relevant social media platform may set cookies to recognize you and collect information about your interaction. These cookies may be used by the social platform for their own purposes, such as advertising, in line with their privacy policies.
Third-Party Cookies: Some cookies on our Site are set by third parties acting on our behalf (like Shopify, Google, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo) or by external partners. We do not control the data collected by third-party cookies once transmitted to the respective party. However, we only allow third parties to set cookies if they provide services to us (such as site analytics, advertising, or social media integration). We recommend you review the privacy policies of these third parties to understand how they handle the information they collect via cookies.
Your Choices and Managing Cookies: You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies (aside from those strictly necessary). Here are some ways you can manage your preferences:
-
Browser Settings: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies or alert you when a cookie is being placed. You can also often remove or clear cookies from your browser. Please note that if you disable or delete certain cookies, parts of our Site may not work properly. For example, blocking essential cookies might prevent you from completing a purchase or logging into your account.
-
Opt-Out of Analytics: If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, Google provides an opt-out browser add-on you can install (see Google’s site for more information).
-
Advertising Choices: For third-party advertising cookies, you can typically opt out or adjust your preferences through tools offered by those third parties or industry groups. For example, to opt out of interest-based ads from many ad networks, you can visit the NAI’s Consumer Opt-Out page or the DAA’s WebChoices Tool. These tools allow you to opt out of use of your info for targeted advertising by participating companies. (Keep in mind, opting out doesn’t mean you won’t see ads, only that the ads are less likely to be tailored to your interests.)
-
Do Not Sell/Share (California opt-out): If you are a California resident or otherwise wish to opt out of certain data sharing for targeted advertising, you can use our Data Sharing Opt-Out page. By visiting that page, you can instruct us not to share your personal information with third-party advertising partners (as defined under applicable law). We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals; if your browser is set to send a GPC signal, our Site will treat it as a valid opt-out of cookie-based “sales”/“sharing” for that browser or device.
Please note that rejecting or opting out of cookies/pixels may impact your experience. For example, if you opt out of advertising cookies, you will still see ads but they may be less relevant to you. Also, even if you opt out of third-party tracking, some data may still be collected on our Site (for example, analytics data) or certain cookies may still be required for the Site to function.
For more information, please see our separate Cookie Policy (if available) or contact us with any questions about our use of cookies and tracking technologies.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for business, legal, and regulatory purposes. The exact duration will depend on the type of information and the reason we have it. Here are some general guidelines we follow:
-
Customer and Account Information: If you have an account or have made a purchase, we will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Even if you close your account or it becomes inactive, we may keep certain information on file for a period of time in case you decide to re-activate your account or to maintain accurate financial or order records.
-
Order and Transaction Records: We keep records of transactions (including your orders, payments, and communications about those transactions) as required for financial reporting, audits, and compliance with tax and accounting laws. For example, we might retain invoice information and basic customer details for a number of years as required by law.
-
Marketing Data: If you have signed up for marketing emails or given consent to receive SMS messages, we will retain your contact details for marketing until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete that information. If you opt out of marketing, we may keep your contact information on a suppression list (to ensure we respect your opt-out).
-
Usage Data: Usage data (analytics) is typically collected in aggregate form and may be retained for an ongoing period to allow us to analyze and improve our website and campaigns over time. Such data usually does not identify you personally, but if it is linked to personal data, we treat it accordingly.
-
Legal Retention: In some cases, we must retain information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. For instance, if we believe there’s potential for a legal claim relating to your data or dealings with us, we might retain relevant information until the issue is resolved. We also keep any data required by law (such as records of consents given, or communications with you regarding privacy requests) for the legally mandated timeframe.
When we no longer have a legitimate need or legal obligation to keep your personal information, we will securely dispose of it. This may involve deleting it from our databases, or in some cases anonymizing it (so it can no longer be associated with you) for archival or statistical purposes.
Your Account and Data Deletion: If you wish to close your account or request that we delete your personal information, you may do so by contacting us (see Contact Us below). Upon your request and subject to verification of your identity, we will delete or de-identify your personal data unless we are required or permitted to keep it by law. Please note that deletion of your data may be irreversible, and certain residual copies may remain in backup systems for a short period. We will also retain information as needed to comply with legal obligations.
Security Measures
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement a variety of technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include:
-
Encryption: Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt data in transit. This means that when you enter sensitive personal information (like payment details) on our checkout page, that information is encrypted before being transmitted over the internet. Additionally, any stored payment information is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processes to safeguard your financial data.
-
Access Controls: We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors, and service providers who need to know that information to operate, develop, or improve our services. Those who have access are subject to strict confidentiality obligations. Administrative access to systems containing personal data is limited and protected by strong authentication methods.
-
Secure Hosting: Our Site is hosted on Shopify and/or other secure cloud services that employ robust security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.) to protect the servers and databases where your information is stored.
-
Monitoring and Testing: We regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks. Security updates and patches are applied routinely to keep our software and infrastructure up-to-date. We may also perform security testing and audits to identify and address potential weaknesses.
-
Payment Security: All payment transactions are processed through secure, accredited payment gateways which comply with industry standards (such as PCI DSS for credit card processing). We do not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment information on our own servers.
-
Training and Policies: Our team members are trained on data privacy and security best practices. We have internal policies and incident response plans in place to handle any security issues swiftly and effectively.
While we strive to protect your information, it’s important to note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You can help protect your account and data by using a strong, unique password for our Site, keeping your login credentials confidential, and notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or personal data.
In the unfortunate event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Your Rights
You may have certain rights regarding your personal information, depending on your jurisdiction. We are committed to honoring applicable data rights for all of our users. These rights may include:
-
Right to Access/Know: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to get information about how we use and share it. This includes the right to ask us about the categories of data we have, the purposes of processing, and the third parties with whom we have shared it.
-
Right to Rectification/Correction: If any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it. For example, if you change your email address or realize your information on file is incorrect, you can ask us to fix it.
-
Right to Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. This is sometimes called the “right to be forgotten.” We will delete the information you request, unless retention is required for our legitimate business purposes or legal obligations (for example, we might need to keep certain transaction records for auditing or legal compliance).
-
Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to ask that we limit or “pause” the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. For instance, if you contest the accuracy of data or object to us processing it, you can request restriction while your concern is being resolved.
-
Right to Data Portability: You may have the right to obtain your personal data in a common, machine-readable format, and to have that data transmitted to another service provider (when technically feasible). This right applies when data processing is carried out by automated means and is based on your consent or the performance of a contract.
-
Right to Object: Where applicable, you have the right to object to certain types of processing. For example, you can object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing purposes. If you object, we will stop processing your information for that purpose. In some cases, you can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue.
-
Right to Withdraw Consent: If we are processing your personal information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. For example, if you consented to receive marketing emails or SMS messages, you can unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and we will stop that processing. (Note: withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing done before your withdrawal.)
-
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: If you are a California resident (or under similar laws in other states/countries), you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. As noted earlier, Decolure does not sell your data for money; however, if you wish to ensure your data isn’t shared for targeted advertising, you can use our Data Sharing Opt-Out page or contact us with your request. We will honor such opt-out preferences.
-
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these privacy rights. This means we won’t deny you services, give you a different level of service, or charge you a different price just because you exercised your rights. For example, if you opt out of targeted advertising or request deletion of your data, you will be treated the same as any other customer (except insofar as your request might affect our ability to personalize service for you, etc.).
-
Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe we have infringed your privacy rights or handled your personal information unlawfully, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority or regulator. For individuals in the EU/EEA, this would be your local Data Protection Authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); and for California, the Attorney General or California Privacy Protection Agency. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concerns directly.
Managing Your Preferences: Many of your rights can be exercised by logging into your Decolure account (if you have one) and updating your profile or settings. For example, you can usually edit your personal details or unsubscribe from newsletters through links in emails. For rights that cannot be managed directly, or if you have any requests or questions about your data, you can contact us using the information in Contact Us below.
When you make a privacy request, we will need to verify your identity to ensure we’re protecting your information from unauthorized access. This might involve confirming your email address, order information, or other details we have on file. In some cases, we may ask for additional verification information. If you use an authorized agent (someone acting on your behalf) to submit a request, we will take steps to verify the agent’s authority and may still require you to verify your identity directly.
We will respond to your request as soon as we can, and within the timeframe required by law. If we cannot fulfill your request (due to a legal exception or inability to verify your identity, for example), we will inform you of the reason. Where applicable, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us, or ultimately lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority as mentioned above.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not provide any personal information to us.
If we discover that we have unintentionally collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe that Decolure might have information about their child under 13 should contact us so we can delete it.
If you are under the age of 16 and located in a region (such as certain countries in the EU or UK) that requires parental consent for data collection, please do not provide your information unless your parent or guardian has provided consent. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 16 where applicable laws require parental consent.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children’s online activities and educate them about safe practices online.
Third-Party Links & Services
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or include services from third parties (for example, a YouTube video, a social media sharing button, or a payment option like PayPal). If you click on a third-party link or interact with an external service, you will be directed to that third party’s site or platform.
Please note: This Privacy Policy applies only to Decolure’s own website and practices. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any third-party websites or services. If you visit or provide information to a third-party site, your data will be handled according to that site’s privacy policy, not ours. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of every site you visit or service you use, especially before providing any personal information.
For example, if our Site links to our social media pages or if you choose to share a Decolure product on Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest, those platforms’ privacy rules will apply to your interactions on their site. Similarly, if you navigate to a third-party payment portal, any data collected by that portal is governed by their policy.
We provide these links and integrations for your convenience and to enhance your experience, but this does not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the third-party’s privacy practices. Use caution and review their privacy information accordingly.
International Data Transfers
Decolure is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored on servers located in the U.S. If you are accessing our Site from outside the United States, be aware that your information will be transferred to and stored in the U.S. (or other jurisdictions where our service providers may operate). The data protection laws of the United States or these other jurisdictions may not be as comprehensive or protective as the laws in your country.
However, we value the privacy of all our customers and take steps to ensure your personal information is protected in line with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed. When we transfer personal data internationally, we do so in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Specifically:
-
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland: If we transfer your personal data out of these regions, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Typically, this means we rely on European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms under EU/UK law to contractually require that your information receives essentially the same level of protection as in the EEA/UK. In some cases, we might rely on an adequacy decision (if the destination country is deemed by the EU to have adequate data protection), or other legal bases for transfer.
-
Other Regions: For transfers from other countries with data transfer restrictions, we will similarly ensure that we comply with the specific requirements of those jurisdictions. This may include obtaining your consent for the transfer, or implementing other contractual and technical measures to protect the data.
By using our services or providing us with your information, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this section. We will handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
If you have questions about our international data practices or require more information about the safeguards we use for cross-border transfers, you can contact us using the details below.
Policy Updates
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will do the following:
-
Posting Updates: We will post the updated Privacy Policy on our Site with a new effective date. The “Last Updated” or “Effective Date” at the top will be revised so you can easily see when the policy was last changed.
-
Notification: If the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice of the update. This could include an announcement on our homepage, a modal or banner on the Site, or sending an email notification to customers (if we have your email on file). The method of notification may depend on the nature of the change and applicable legal requirements.
-
Consent for Material Changes: If a change materially affects how we handle personal information that we collected from you under a previous policy, we will seek your consent if required by law. For example, if we plan to use your information for a new purpose that you didn’t agree to before, you will be given a choice about that new use.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of our Site or services after any update to this Privacy Policy will signify your acceptance of the changes, to the extent permitted by law.
