Fits perfectly in our chairs

I have some dining room chairs that have a faux leather surface that is flaking off. The underlining wood structure and cushion are still in great shape, so these Decolure chair covers will save me having to purchase new chairs. The fabric is thick and very stretchy providing an excellent fit and finish. The pattern is rich and elegant, changing the entire look of the chair. I haven’t had a chance to test any spills on this material, nor have I washed the cover yet. The family and I are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend these covers.

I actually really like these chair covers, they are thicker material and actually dresses up the room to make it look more modern. They are a beige color so might not go with all your colors in the house. I did find that they fit my chairs perfectly except for the becking as they are a little bit longer than my chair. And with a bit of tucking in it still looks good

The fit test:

Chair 1: this chair has a curved back, the back is 18” tall, 18” wide, and the seat is also 18”x18”. Because of the curved back, the fit is tight. Fortunately the cover is very stretchy and is able to wrap around it. However, because of the curved back, the chair cover tends to stretch straight across the front causing the seat to look smaller. It is still usable because when you sit down, the stretchy cover conforms to your shape and you are able to lean into the back of the chair.

Chair 2: the back of this chair is 18” wide and 23” tall. The seat is trapezoidal being 15” wide at the back, 20” wide at the front, and 18” deep. The chair cover fit well and looked most elegant on this chair. Despite the trapezoidal seat, due to the stretchable nature of the fabric, it is able to adapt to the shape of the seat.

Conclusion: it is best to apply this on a chair that does not have excessive curvature of the back. A flatter back or one with a small curve will work.

The waterproof test:
See video. I poured water onto the chair cover and immediately water beads form and shed off the chair. The water beads can also become large in size, and once heavy enough and with a slope, will slide off the cover. If you have curious kids, they might even purposely pour water into the chairs to watch this effect. The water remained as beads on the chair even after 17 minutes after which I checked under the cover and the chair was dry.

The material is thicker than just a simple layer like shirt material as my other covers.
They also have some frictions to prevent slip which is good as my kids are young and won't fall.
Size is fine and fit normally.
I don't think it's 100% warer proof but is water repellent. I like the color matching my table cover. not sure if they get dirty quickly due to light color. But I think it can be easily washed.

I liked these chair covers so much. The quality is way better than I expected. The fabric is thick, soft, and has a nice jacquard texture that makes my dining room look really elegant. They fit perfectly on my chairs and are super stretchy, so putting them on was very easy.

I also love that they are waterproof, we have already had a couple of spills, and cleanup was no problem at all. Just wiped right off. They protect the chairs really well, especially with kids around. The beige color is lovely and blends nicely with my furniture.

Best part is they are washable and removable, so no stress if they get dirty. Honestly, these covers changed the whole look of our dining area. I am super happy with this purchase.

I was a bit skeptical at first as the images from the seller makes them look a bit yellow-iissh but once I've received them i was relieved that they are beige which fits perfectly fine in my kitchen, installation was straightforward as you simply need to slide them over your chairs and they fitted nicely on mine.

As you can see from the picture, the DECOLURE Waterproof Dining Chair Covers Set of 4 are a perfect fit for the standard dining table chairs. They are truly waterproof because I have a climbing rose bush against a golden fir (small size) in front of the railing on the front porch. I water the plants throughout thoroughly which means I hold the nozzle of the hose high and drench the plants. Obviously the Chair gets wet but with this cover you just don't feel it as it feels eternally dry. Also it perfectly hides any flaws that the chair has. I definitely recommend.

I'm actually quite pleasantly surprised by these covers! My husband ordered them before consulting me and I have to say...he hit the nail straight on the head with these. We have two toddlers (3 & 6) so you can imagine the messes these chairs will face for the next decade or more. I can see these covers being a blessing.

The covers also fit my chairs really nicely and no droopy areas.

They look great. They really brighten up my dining room. It was a bit tricky to put on and I was worried I would rip them but I didn’t. They don’t change the shape of your chair so whatever shape your chair is you’ll still be able to see it. One of them had a seam at the back which was quite noticeable but luckily I only use 3 chairs in my dining room. I used a delicate cycle to wash them and hung them to dry inside out overnight.

Perfect chair covers. They wash nice and can be popped into the dryer on regular setting. They fit snug on my chair which makes them look perfect. Material is soft.

The DECOLURE dining chair slip covers are 90% polyester and10% spandex. They are suppose to be waterproof.

They are not. The photo I have put up shows the water pooling which it is suppose to do so I thought great it passed this test until I picked up the slip cover and noticed my table was wet and I felt inside and sure enough I felt moisture.
I did the moisture test before placing the slip cover on the chair.

I knew going in I would have a slight problem with the height (these are for higher backed chairs) and for the width of the front seat cushion. But with spandex being part of the material I was able to cover the seat no problem. I do have a bit of extra material for the height but you can see it really does not show.

They are cute and match my décor and as the material I redid the chair with is waterproof, these slip covers for my chairs is not a huge issue, it is more aesthetic I ordered them.

If you are looking for a waterproof slip cover, these are not it. If you are looking for something to refresh your dining chairs, these will do.

I wanted a chair cover for one dining chair in particular that’s faux leather and peeling off the top always making a mess on the floor.

The very first one I opened was stained on the bottom side. Granted not super visible there, but still pretty bad quality control for a new product. I only opened one other (which was fine) to put on the chair. I didn’t measure my chair, but evidently it’s a bit too big for these covers, as it balloons out at the junction of the seat back and seat. I put a cushion on it anyways so it won’t show. It will do what I intended which is prevent the peeling mess from falling to the ground incessantly.

Do measure your chairs first. Description says they are: 48.3cm depth x 45.7cm wide x 58.4cm high.

The material is decent, looks good and soft with a swirly/leafy design outside, and waterproof material inside. So that’s good at least.

For 56.61$ (14.15$/each) they are reasonably priced, tho they really need to improve their quality control, especially for a so-called “luxury” product. They will get lots of returns if their products are stained.

Beautiful cover for my bar chairs, and they look amazing.
No issues with the washing machine, and then ran it through a delicate, low heat drying cycle.
Material is just a little bit stretchy, so it will hold its shape longer I think.
Slipped on perfectly, and is holding its shape and not slipping. Very happy :)
